who you think is gonna be this years cup winner?

i feel like the pens can do it again...

then again... the caps are looking REALLY good.

im a pens fan... so naturally im biased. but i like the caps too... its wierd...


anyway... if you have Directv... the stanley cup playoffs start tonight.. .and are on right now on Versus.

Versus has alot of cup coverage like they did last year... if you dont get Versus... i feel bad for you hockey fans.

direct TV finally got versus back a couple weeks ago, and i think it is pens and hawks in the finals with the hawks in game seven.

well I'm biased but I think Devils vs Blackhawks for the cup.. but the caps have a shot as well.. the pens have been a little less consistent then last year

as for a winner.. i have guessed in years past and all i've learned is that the NHL playoffs are very unpredictable

i think the devils will loose to the flyers in the first round and i don't think the caps will win because, when is the last time a presidents cup winner have won the Stanley cup?

the pens have been hindered with some injuries in the last few months... hopefully they get back to full strength... and can play like they did last year...


i honestly dont know what happened to detroit... its as if they just dont show up anymore.

pens might just get into a scoring competition with the sens and frankly they cant lean on fluery again.. i have sens in 5

i dont see the devils making it out of RD 2

and the red wings will choke sooner than that...

im not gonna make any speculation on the pens anymore untill i see the next few games.

however... i do think we will see another epic caps vs pens matchup in the semi finals.

one of those teams will go onto the final..

Pens came out on fire last night, but their defense was teh suck. Fluery?! :facepalm:

Not quite sure how this will pan out. Can't wait to watch some more games!

My early prediction, Its not going to end up like everyone thinks, its going to be a huge upset and teams who we're not expected to be in the stanley cup finals WILL be in the stanley cup finals, and the caps will blow it early on again. Its hard to say anything about the penguins or the red wings, because that first game was nothing but a let down for each team.

I'm not going to make a finals prediction as at this point its too hard to call. But I wouldn't doubt it if the flyers got close, after a rough end to the season.

this is how i kinda of feel as well.
pens just dont seem to have that "umph" like last year. and fluery is unfortunately inconsistent.

Pens somehow won..hate to say it but that was sort of a crappy game. They turned it on in the 3rd but I guess it was better the last game. Huge hit on Leopold, I cringed when I saw the replys...it hurt to watch.

i was waiting and hoping they showed it and didnt go to break... it was awesome. lol
