a suppressor does not make the gun silent like in the movies.. what you are likely hearing are the actual gun mechanics and the sound downrange.. the actual gunfire sound has been substantially reduced.. that is probably .223 which is pretty loud normally..That suppressor doesn't work very well.
i think that BOTH are doing that! lolI've heard a lot better suppressors.
Either the cams mic magnifies sound, or the range they're at does.
i did the same thing at first.. its just hard because you are seeing something that is happening SO fast in such an closed off area.. if that pistol was outside and being shot into a berm you would probably not hear a whole lot..I might be getting sounds mixed up the first time I saw it.
yup this is EXACTLY what i was saying..lol, the indoor range makes it sound louder... most of the sound you hear is the bullet impacting the trap ( only 50yrds away). and since this is a 556/ 223, its supersonic. its much harder to quiet a round traveling that fast.
this is a vid that was related..

notice the sound change... so im guessing the range they were using probably had a metal trap which would magnify anything..
good luck.. lolIt would be nice if silencers were legal in NJ.
apparently not having an adjustable stock makes the bullets from my rifle hurt innocent people less..Lol nothing to have luck about, its just never going to happen. Just like the magazine limits for rifles. And not being able to have an adjustable stock (with the push of a button). Its just ridiculous.
