which makes it a legal hit. It wasn't some cheap shot to the back of the head, from behind, after the puck had been shot

btw, seeing the replay in slo-mo and seeing how Leopolds body twisted, it was almost rubbery...ouch..

It was a legal hit his shoulder was down, but it does look like he threw his elbow into his head but that will happen cause of the force sutton is taking, That hit was so hard that he opened the penalty box lol

but if you watch it from both angles it wasn't high, the player was low coming into it and he stayed on the ice.. maybe it was a violation of the blind side rule, but not illegal otherwise
