Need help is this turbo worth it?

Is this kit worth $1200 and how much will it benefit me?
Ram horn turbo manifol, t3/t4 turbo, external wastegate with 8lb spring, all charge pipes, all couplers, all clamps, manual boost contoller, t for vacuum line, vacuum lines, oil inlet and outlet lines, front mount intercooler, blow off valve, and all flanges and down pipe stuff ,

A guy that i meet off of graigslist , he said he'd order it for me and im trying to figure out if it's worth it , what do you suggest, he said obx turbo manifols, xs t3/t4 turbo

he said he would ORDER it for you? wtf...sounds like a scam. and thats on the expensive side of those parts. just do some research and buy your own. i built the whole kit with injectors tune and Everything for about the price you would have paid for that.

yea it DOES sound like a scam if he'll order it for you, obx and xs parts aren't the best parts you can get..since you are local, you can piece your own kit together for way cheaper, i got a friend who owns a shop, ADVANCE STREET PERFORMANCE, he does everything, from making headers, manifolds, tuning, just about everything you want..he owns a 300+hp NA k series and took second at BOTI..let me know if you are interested, and he'll be able to get you a good price..
i recommend you buy your own turbo, let my friend make the manifold, downpipe, dumptube(all life time warranted) he does intercooler piping as well so if you want him to do most of the kit he can, his work is really reliable and he is a really cool guy..cares about doing a good job rather than getting alot of customers and just half'n everything

Actually, the OBX ram horn is pretty solid. I have seen one at my local shop.. as for the other stuff, just like ^^ said, Its best to do it right the 1st time.. Actual turbo parts arent cheap, and the T3-T4 is probably a ching change knock-off..

build your own turbo kit....you can make it cheaper and better quality parts...just have to do research....and find good deals
