MAP sensor CEL code in boosted Civic

ok i just put a new motor in my car and changed computers also and the other motor had boost on it and it ran fine but the piston rings went bad so now i have a new motor in it and now the check engine light come on when i get about 5000rpms saying that Manifold Absolute Pressure (sensor) and idk what it would b im only pushin at the most 6 pounds of boost help me

More info on the setup, what em are you running? Did you get a retune for the new motor?

no i took the motor and ecu out of a wrecked civic and the motor is a d16y7 with a d16y8 head and all i did was but it in my car with my turbo and my turbo is off a talon i thing it a 16g but not sure and ive changed map allready and its still doing it and one of my buddy said that the stock map are good till u get around 12 pounds of boost and im only runnin at the highest 6 maybe 7 and when i had it hooked up it shower that with the check engine light on that the map had 11 volt and with the light off it was at 9 volt and idk why its so high

Stock ECU will not like seeing boost no matter if its 2lbs.....Get a chipped ecu, standalone or piggy back crap or you will be swapping a motor again soon.
