blew motor on nitrous

It was a wet single fogger kit. I think im gonna build a vitara d16z6 and do a direct port nitrous setup, but i will keep my nitrous kit.
My mustang can take a 250 shot all day w/o a problem, i wanted to see how much i could push out of the d16. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
And the stang has a stock 5.0 motor. Stock pistons and all.
vitara build is for goin boost... get some decent rods and forged pistons if your going to run NOS.
i reccomend a build like mine... probe industries I-beams and hi compression forged pistons if you plan on running nitrous.

as far as the stang, 5.0 bottom ends are built SUPER tough from the factory... I`m pretty sure all of the 5.0 mustangs from 85-92 came with forged pistons, thus why you can beat the hell out of them!

lets try and wrangle all this fail..

150 shot on stock D will always = BOOM
H22 vs GSR in weight = about a 23 lb difference.. so the difference is negligible when given hp/trq

street spraying a stock D on 150 shot vs a street driven GT mustang.. facepalm all over

Vitera builds are meant for boost.. forged internals are what nitrous needs

to answer the Q: rebuild the motor on quality forged internals, and new valves/springs and retainers, cooler plugs, adjust timing, bigger fuel pump/software to feed the fuel need... and hopefully it won't go pop.. still wouldn't run a direct port kit even then at 150 shot

I just sold my civic and integra for a cool $2500.00. Now all i gots a 90 mustang. So many hondas gettin stolin out here makes it tuff. Ima play with the stang for a while.
