how much did you pick your civic up for? nice camaro, but imo chevys can't pull off the sawblades... they look good on vws though.
The previous owner was asking $1100 but we settled on an even grand. According to KBB, she's worth $1800 all fixed up, so it wasn't too bad. The rear driver's side window is off track, the front passenger door sometimes doesn't open from the inside, there's no headunit, and the front bumper is dinged up quite a bit. Though for a daily driver, I'm more than happy :suprise:.

As for the sawblades, I guess it's an acquired taste ha. Some of my friends hate them, and some think they definitely beat the stock look.

So far I love the Honda. I'll be honest, it actually surprised me. It has decent power, gets phenomenal gas mileage, and it's pretty roomy.
the gas mileage is not phenomenal at all mate just american motors are big waste of gas.. nothing personal but it is true, and yeh the civic have some power if you tuned up and gets about 30hp up you will be like new and again have good fuel economy ;)

get a life, take the acura nsx vs the chev corvette, vette has more hp / tq, costs less, and gets better fuel economy

furthermore you will NEVER get anywhere close to a 30 hp gain on a tune up and bolt ons on a honda unless you were driving around on 3cyls with the ebrake up and some 50 lb bags of concrete in the trunk!

haha never, you are not right at all depends on how much money he want to add on the engine I don't say it will be easy.. in my country one dude have D13B2 wich normaly is 75hp on vale not on wheels, he change the head with that from D15b2, PGMFI from D16A6 and few other little mods like sport generation and it don't cost much here is the shot > http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4474/31012010421.jpg and after the aditional settings he gets 91hp on the wheels wich is about 105-110hp on vale or maby more. So here is your 25-30 hp on the smallest engine, and btw it can be done much more with Vtech head and etc..
P.S
I have a life be cool, the chev corvette is not the only car in usa and you have bigger and much slower cars that have a non nessery to be with 4-6L engine.

im fully aware about the power that can be had on 4g civics with a mpfi swap, i used to have a 91 4 door with sohc zc, but this thread isnt about 4g civics, and this thread is about a guy who bought his honda for a commuter car, not to soup up.

And ill take "big slow cars" any day over some pos civic with a d13 lol that engine is so weak and crappy its not even offered here in anything, and no civics in the us 92 or newer had dpfi either.

Please terminate this discussion that is taking the OP's thread off topic.

You don't understand for what cars i'm talking about not muscle cars i'm talking about daily cars mostly.. and D13B2 is on 5 gen civic too not only 4g.. D15xx has potencial too for much more than 30hp i can show you more.. ok let's stop with the "forum fight", what i was wanted to say before is that he can do few cheep things and be pleased with the result ;)
