Yea the funny part is that Arizona ice tea is made in New York. But anyway, enough talking about retards.

I dont get what the issue is here. There should be absolutely NO ONE debating this. The bottom line is the law is the law. If someone doesnt abide by the laws and comes in illegally, they should be thrown out......at their own expense not ours. I posted in here earlier, every other country you will either get shot, tortured, or jailed for the rest of your life if you get caught sneaking in there. Why should we be different? Im not saying we jail someone for life, or torture them. And Im not saying shoot them either, but we just need a MUCH better border defense than we already have. Everyone needs to stop being pussies and stop worrying about everyone else. Lets fix our country before we try to fix others.

I agree. But that WILL cause an uproar and probably WONT be enforced by boarder patrol. We live in a soft society. I think its going to be hard to find many sane people who would be willing to shoot on sight anyone trying to jump over a fence.

Okay see THIS topic is debatable. The topic of whether or not illegal immigrants need to ALL be taken care of isnt. So lets move the direction of this debate as to HOW we should take care of them.

Yes there is a problem with eastern Europeans migrating here illegally but that's not Arizona's problem, as has been pointed out. Their problem is with illegals from Mexico. Yes other states have the same problem but AZ is trying to nip theirs in the bud as they are having the largest problem with their border. Other states my try something of the same. Maybe all states should check everyone's citizenship so that people can stop complaining. Sure, some middle-aged white men and women as well as older and younger should be checked but that's probably not going to fly in Arizona. People are generalizing Arizona's policy with the whole country, but Arizona needs it.

As was mentioned earlier, there are some people in this country illegally that just may be allowed to come back in based on their merit while they were here, BUT they are still here ILLEGALLY for NOW. Talk about profiling, talk about being Black in the great state of South Carolina. It's bad, but not so bad at the same time. I also have the balls to talk to who needs to be talked to make sure it doesn't happen(which hasn't happened in years because of said comment above).

Illegal is illegal. Illegal street racing, they take your car. Here illegally, they take you back home. Simple

i don't care WHO you are black brown white yellow purple.. if you are here illegally you need to go.. i think that southern and central america takes the most heat because you can just WALK across the f**king border.. lets face it.. illegally sneaking into the country from Russia.. or Italy... etc.. is going to be a whole hell of a lot harder than sneaking in from Mexico.. LOL that does NOT mean it should be ignored.. but our southern border needs to be strengthened like crazy and that IMO is step one..

Its funny, but I dont see how its win. I think its ridiculous that Arizona is receiving all this bullshit for trying to uphold a law that is causing some serious problems in their state and in our country.

i think arizona had no business (well maybe some) trying to do the feds job. if they really wanted to press the issue with illegals they could have approached it in a very different manner, and i would have 100% supported it. this is why they are getting slapped in the face.

either way, this thread died, and i dont mean to reignite the flame so this will be my last post in here.

It is the job of the police to protect you.. if you live in a s**t neighborhood and some cracked out bum constantly starts trouble.. breaks into your car ALL the time.. you KNOW its him because you have seen him.. you report the crime time and time again only to have the police do nothing.. well one day you see him harassing some little kid.. are you going to call the police who have already proved they will do nothing.. or are you going to grow a pair and get involved.. that is the situation in Arizona.. they have asked a million times over for the fed to intervene and protect the border.. the fed treats it as a joke.. the feds could %100 eliminate illegal immigration over night if they felt like it.. look at the resources the fed has put in place fighting over seas.. look at the resources in the war on drugs.. now look at how underpowered the border patrol is compared to the other...

I understand your point of view, although I do not agree with it. I think that its EVERYONES responsibility to make sure that laws are enforced. If a civilian knows of an illegal immigrant here, I feel like they should report it. To me, just because the feds are the only ones who have the authority to deport them, doesnt mean everyone cant get involved.

However, Im intrigued to hear your side. If you happen to read this post please let me know how you think Arizona could have pressed the issue a different way. If you dont want to post in here, PM me. Im interested to see the opinions other people have.

just remember your little comparison the next time you get pulled over and they ask for your "papers" (drivers license, insurance card, etc..) tell them that this is America not Nazi Germany.. therefore you are free to travel about and don't have to produce documents.. see how far that gets you..

the Nazi comparison is some soft liberal spin on this whole situation...

THE BILL DOES NOT SAY THEY ARE GOING TO SET UP SPANISH PEOPLE CHECK POINTS.. catch illegals and cook them in ovens:roll: It is simply empowering the local governments to act if they catch an illegal through other means (traffic stop, disorderly, etc..)

Yeah but asking for birth certificates to prove citizenship is ridiculous, I don't even know where mine is, prolly w/my rents so i guess I'd get deported. It's gonna come to a point where we all have to carry passports with us inside the US on a daily basis........
