maybe urs doesnt have it idk. On my EJ8 there was a plastic piece that was part of the doorcard. When I took out the stock speaker there was a plastic indentation where the magnet of the stock speaker went into. This indentation was so shallow that I couldn't fit my new speakers in there. I had to basically drill a big hole in my doorcard so I could slip the magnet in there for my new speakers.
Dremmel is like $4...fits onto a drill
i didn't know drills spun fast enough to dremel, but there's a full dremel kit at harbor freight for like 30 bones.

Brian, I don't have that. All mine is, is a 5 1/4" hole shpaed oddly with 3 holes in a triangular fashion. It's all metal and has a small lip on it. If I can, I'll get some pix after being at this shitty f**king place I somehow call work.

Yea I did, those neon peddles look f**king retarded. I still think its a cool idea. Not for knowing what gear your in, but just the fact that your shift knob has a brain and can tell which gear ur in.
