Project cars are fun for sure!
Yea I know, I had a POS V6 Camaro that I was just fixing up to get it road worthy, it was still fun working on a car like that though. I definitely plan on getting one once I have the money. Cant decide what I want though lol, so many different directions Im considering going in.

Yeah I hear ya. Camaro's are pretty fun to work on also. If you got a Miata I know you won't regret it! I love mine and I've barely driven it haha. They're just fun as hell to work on and drive.

Well got some progress on it, pulled the trans out. Definitely wasn't use to them being so big considering all I've ever owned is Honda's haha.
Some pics of the progress

Had a little oil spill...I failed lol.

Anywho, new clutch will be in tomorrow, passenger side mirror on Thursday, and my Roadster and Eunos badges will hopefully be here soon.

For those of you who have or have friends with Raceland coilovers for a Miata, whats your opinion on them? I've heard great things about them, and really bad things.

Let me know!

I'd stick to FM Vmaxxes personally, racelands seem to be a hit or miss depending on experience of the reviewer

Yeah for sure. I figured I'd ask though, some of their old reviews were horrid, but their newer reviews seem better. Maybe they fixed all the problems they were having, who knows.

possibly, but I'd trust FM > Raceland any day, although the price is hard to argue, still $600 for a decent FM setup is cheap too. Decisions decisions lol.

I saw FM if you plan on racing Raceland for DD

Yeah for sure haha. You could never get a decent setup for less than 600$ for a Honda IMO, and I'm sure the FM ones are great. The car will be daily driven, but also tracked. So I need something thats stiff, but not stupid stiff to be breaking my back. haha

Ford Miata-stang

lmao what the hell!

^^ so horrible,

I prefer pitcrew kit
That is dope! Haha.

Thanks man. It will be a different project that's for sure. I will most likely be slammed, but once I hit the track I'll be raising it up a tad.

Well, I can actually start driving it today, which will be fun. But, my passenger mirror and Eunos/roadster badges come in hopefully this week also.

Suspension, wheels, front/rear lips are a must very soon. My nardi wheel and knob from teh EM1 will be transferred to the Miata also

Wordddd hahaha.

Well I got the clutch in yesterday, what fun that was....NOT. >_<

Anywho, I love driving the car!!

I am a little scared though. The stock oil pressure gauge sits at like 10 when idle, and when I'm driving it sits at about 30....oil pump maybe?
