Nice man Ive been hooping a lil as well lately, we should hoop at AM, i think theres a court by the monaco...but that could be a lie
the 02's had some issues but i believe the tranny issues were fixed by 03. 04+ i havent heard of any issues with the 5 spd. 6 spd STI trans is kickass, indestructible. Ken Blocks gymkhana car is a stock sti trans and he obviously rails on that carBrian, whats this I hear about subby trannys being bad, they have a tendency of going out at random??

Donemods please rename this to MW Subbie discussion
looks good Brian.Yeh i'll have to get an alignment after AM, but camber is fantastic right now, and it drives straight lol
I had the help of a Subaru expert, hes the co-driver for Ziptie Rally, a local team who race Rally America so he made it look incredibly easy.
We had the first strut off/spring mounted ready to go back on in 20 minutes...then we found my camber bolt was bad so we had to d**k around for an hour locating another one.
Don't need to remove the axle bolt, just disconnect ABS and brake lines and drop the strut. Super easy didnt need a spring compressor. If we had had everything it would've taken under 2 hours
i had a clean record til i got a speeding ticket in the w. Mine is $140ish per month, i cant remember the exact number. $0 comp deductible, $500 collisiontrue but i want to know lol just a rough guestimate
Ah yes, forgot about those devils, no i havent had the pleasure of digging for thoseLOL, you obviously havent done your spark plugs yet.
really? Dave said I wouldnt have to, and I should let them settle before getting an alignment, if i got it too soon Id have to get another one once i got backlooks good Brian.
Although go spend the $100 to get your car aligned. You will be VERY lucky if you have any tire left after the trip to the dells. I cooked my tires after driving for 100 miles after lowering mine.
OH, btw, grandpa Dave is no Subaru expert. lol
no noDave said you wouldnt have to? And then said you should? lol
theyll settle quicker than 100 miles. A few hard driving sessions and you'll be good.
eh, its up to you I guess. I just know what I'd do
werd, well ill post a pic up in a bit of my toe...if i need to get one before AM ill have to get on that asapI doubt the CM's it will droop will affect an alignment very much, if it does it will slightly change camber settings. Toe is what will Nom your tires up not camber.....
