UPDATE:

At last after 1 month shy of 2 years of rebuilding from the ground up... I put the bumpers on and finally have the completely rebuilt civic of my dreams before my eyes. (Hence the title of my build thread)

I'm really loving the sleeper look I've obtained by keeping the grille in!

Damn bro those bumpers look sooooo good! Wow! I love it! Even though I am a FIRM believer that painting a FMIC Black is the worst Idea ever (Meaning Black collects heat Inter cooler is to cool not heat) so again even though, I would have to do it on this car if it were mine because it looks BONE stock... OMG I have never seen the "sleeper" style actually work and look real.. most you can still see it... But not this one! Holy s**t! I love it man GOOD job... Maybe some stock wheels? lol...

I've seen the blacked out FMIC done before on some Evos and what not.. my buddy suggested it while my build began and I decided to run with it to keep the car as stock/oem looking as possible... thus far I have not encountered any problems with it being black and causing over heating/lack of power. hah I thought about rocking steelies; OEM rims with hubcaps would be even more sleeper too! Once again, thanks for the compliments.. much appreciated!
