Is there a difference between a 1991 honda civic si hatchback and 1991 honda civic dx hatchback? If so what are they?

the DX has a 1.5L 16-valve D15B2 engine and the Si has a 1.6L 16-valve D16A6 engine, the Si also has nicer stock seats and all black interior. For more info just look it up its not that hard!

1991 Si is mpfi 4 injectors and the Dx is DPFI 2 injectors. The Si obviously has more power but also a heavier model and has a sun roof.

Hmm i asked a friend about the difference in the dx and si models, he told me that the si is a heavier model which requires a more powerful engine, while the dx is a lighter car, if this is true would it be better to buy a dx rather than an si? Would it be easier to find a DX rather than an Si? t thanks for the replies BTW.

std is lightest model.

si's are nice because they have a sun roof.. if i could trade my zc swapped std for a si running i would in a heart beat...

I have a 1990 civic cx hb and a 1991 civic si. the cx is professionally lowered but the si still hugs the road nicer even stock!

SI: Sun roof, nice seats, says "crx" on the inside of the door, sunroof, 4 wheel Disc breaks shorter final drive for transmission, MPFI, stronger block, and better cam. The hf is lighter, but worthless. Its nice that it had MPFI, but the throttle body is SMALL, only has 8 valves, AND the worst ttranny on the plannet.
