hey idiot... he was making fun of you for spelling porSche wrong... the way you've spelled, even after posting the website is still spelled porch with an e. oh and show a pic of a single porsche with 'porsche' written on the back, a new one anyway. i know some of the older ones did.. but i'm pretty sure none of the new models have it.

So i am looking into just pulling the belt off of my civic ex 98 while still being able to put it back on if i NEED it kinda thing. I have heard on some cars you can just do that because the ac pulley/belt powers more than just the ac unit. Can i pull the belt and have no issues???

You can remove the A/C belt from a stock 98 Civic without affecting anything except the A/C.

Okay so i got underneath the car and it looks like i have to take off the ps belt b4 the ac belt. However, the ac belt looks like it can't be taken off with out either cutting it or unscrewing one of the engine mounts... WTF?? Is their another way to get the sneaker sucker off??

Is there really any advantage in HP if i take the belt off???

To get the A/C belt off intact, you must remove the PS belt and the engine torque mount.

I would think the HP gains would be virtually none.

well i guess there's no sense in tearing that then lol. What would you (Ron) suggest i do as a place to start up grading my car. I am pretty new to civics and want to start at the ground level i don't really have 500 - 2000 to do major engine work or a turbo but i wanna get like another 20 - 30 horses out by doing small projects if i can??

My Civics are stock, so I don't have any real expertise in upgrades. I'm sure our performance gurus will have some very good ideas for you.
