Nope. Not familiar.

Nice gear. I miss using SolidWorks and CATIA.
Ah, ok. It's another CAD software, I'm not familiar with it either, but was trying to help someone who was having issues importing files. That software is now called NX, I know that much

oh, and what do you use now?

nice hector here's what i got done so far

working on the throttle body right now
Ah, that's looking pretty familiar to me.

Oh boy.. I use MEDUSA. Its was made in the eighties and is probably the most frusteratingly pathetic CAD software still in use today. Actually, I think Pierce is the only current user anymore. We are trying to convert to CATIA, buts its taking years. MEDUSA is so old and outdated that it doesn't even use keyboard commands. Every fuction is usable by clicking a button on-screen only. even pan/zoom. This program is the biggest waste of time ever.

Ah, that reminds me of 3D System's Lightyear, although it's not a modeler, rather a program to prepare files for rapid prototyping.

I love the command line. I started off in AutoCad. Yea, CATIA/Pro Engineer are huge in the Automobile industry. I just learned to use Pro Engineer this spring. I love it. Not user frienly at ALL, but powerful. Command line just executes your command a lot faster

When using SolidWorks, do you use the keyboard for commands?
