Since we seem to have a healthy group that watches and follows the sport of MMA, I decided we should have our own thread. Discuss anything and everything MMA, any organization, past present or possible future fighters. If its MMA, it belongs here.

Since UFC 114 is next week, who's everyone going for?

^ I'm with you on that. I hate Rashad so much.

I also hope Dan Miller shuts Bisping up as well. I probably hate Bisping more than Rashad.

Official weigh in results!

mmaweekly.com said:

UFC 114 is now official as all of the fighters hit the scales today for the weigh-ins, and no staredown was more anticipated than that of the main event pitting two former light heavyweight champions against each other with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson taking on Rashad Evans.

The two faced off after weighing in, but this time nose to nose not a single word was uttered between the two rivals. Now it's all about the business at hand.

"I'm just trying to stay relaxed," said Evans. "I'm excited just cause we talked it up, now it's game time. It's definitely some anticipation, but at the same time it ain't no thing it's just another fight."

For his part, Rampage was much more vocal about how he plans on ending Evans' night on Saturday.

"He's dead!" Rampage screamed to the crowd. "I've been waiting a long time for this fight, I'm happy to be back in the UFC, it's time for me to crack some skulls tomorrow. He's dead!"

Also on the card, Michael Bisping and Dan Miller had no problems with making the middleweight limit in their fight that will serve as the co-main event of the evening. Bisping did however did get a very loud chorus of boos from the Las Vegas crowd at the weigh-ins.

Here are the full weigh-in results for UFC 114:

Main Card:
-Rashad Evans (206) vs. Quinton Jackson (205)
-Dan Miller (185) vs. Michael Bisping (186)
-Jason Brilz (205) vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (205)
-John Hathaway (171) vs. Diego Sanchez (171)
-Mike Russow (253) vs. Todd Duffee (253)

Preliminary card:
-Dong Hyun Kim (171) vs. Amir Sadollah (171)
-Dany Lauzon (155) vs. Efrain Escudero (156)
-Waylon Lowe (155) vs. Melvin Guillard (155)
-Cyrille Diabate (205) vs. Luis Cane (205)
-Joe Brammer (156) vs. Aaron Riley (156)
-Ryan Jensen (185) vs. Jesse Forbes (186)
Dunno about you guys, Rashad looks a lil scared.

Neck surgery. He was suffering from headaches, numbness in hands and arms, trouble sleeping and some other s**t. He said when he returns, he wants his first fight to be with Liddell.

And I guess since he wasn't able to fight Liddell, he had to resign as coach on the show and Franklin replaces him.

ortiz's coaches are a bunch of bitches anyway. like the last episode trying to say that tavarez was kicked in the chest at the end of that round? come on. getting kicked in the chest doesnt just immediately drop you like that and then when the other guys says sorry hes just like for what? lol he had no clue what even hit him and all ortiz's guys are talking about them getting another gift. my ass. then tito runs his mouth till chuck heads over towards him and he books it back to the locker room

hhaha, yah, I'd like to soccer kick those coaches when they're down in the face. Tavarez prolly thought he was back in 1962 for a minute after that kick lol.

^ More than likely. I hate both of them, but hate Liddell less. Either way, I think the Liddell Franklin fight will but much more entertaining. Franklin one of my favorites.

Tito is scared...he's waiting for Chuck to retire..

I like Rampage....A lot actually...prolly one of my fav's..But I hate. yes HATE his camp. The best 2 things I have seen in the UFC was when Rashad got stanky leg'd and that HUGE overhand that destroyed bisping...o and that swan dive right after..

I expect the Rampage-Rashad fight to be a 1st rounder, unless Rashad gets scared and starts shootin.

I hope Dan Miller wrecks on that brit bastard, but it's hard to tell. We'll c there.

I'm torn on Diego Sanchez, he's a wierdo but he's all business, and I kinda like that.

Should be a good event!

I doubt Rashad will back his words and stand with Rampage. So, if Rampage can land a good one, I don't see this ending in a TKO. Rashad is definitely scared, especially after all his trash talking and no one has really seen Rampage this motivated or ready to fight. This is gonna be a great Rampage. I really, really hope he chicken legs Rashad and doesn't stop hitting him.

I know I stated above that I hate Bisping, but I kinda wanna see how good he can be, same goes for Miller. And, for Sanchez, f**k him. I hope he gets knocked out cold. Dude is too f**king weird for me and way too cocky.

Guillard is always a good show. Kid gonna have a great future.

^^ I agree!! Lotsa good fights early, some surprising upsets!! Rampage did what he does and wanted to bang it out. Rashad did what I though he would and took him down, and slept his way to a decision! I though Rampage had it there in the 3rd!!! Herb wanted to stop it!!!
