yeah some how this crap got on my computer making it almost useless for the last day or so. the company is called antispyware soft, anyone else have this little f**ker invade their computer? now that he is gone i am sure that my mcafee software will not cut the mustard, was pretty sure before, certin now. avast any good anymore? my malware software is "malware bytes" seemed to do the trick, but does anyone have any ideas about it? thanks everyone

wtf? Is this a new virus coming out or something? I just got it a few days ago. I booted up in safe mode and manually removed the file that was causing me to not be able to open any .exe files. My friend found a website that told me how to get rid of it (I only did part of it, enough to get it to let me use my computer).

I haven't gone through the registry yet but I suppose I should. AVG-Free has picked up a couple things here and there but I'm just worried a keylogger is still snooping around my computer. I updated Spyware Blaster and ran CCleaner a few times so I hope I'm good.

i got that a couple of weeks ago. i just did a system restore from a few months ago. then reinstalled my norton 360. didnt install it after i updated to windows 7.
