What's up guys. Well I always regretted getting rid of my eh9 when the tranny went out but I had no choice at the time. ever since I have been trying to get back the the little civic. Traded the EH9 for a BA4, Traded the BA4 for a DA9, and now FINALLY I have traded the DA9 for a EJ1. So happy I'm back with the civic.

Anyway. Some specs are in order.

94 Honda Civic EX w/ ABS (EJ1)
5-speed
Power everything of course
4-wheel Disk with ABS
Moonroof (duh)
Supposedly 170k on the car, and 110k on the motor
No name short ram Intake
And a Muffler that's not doing anything lol
NO QUARTER RUST

Things that have to be fixed that I can see right now (I'll search more later)
Drivers door is black and dented.
Rear bumper is black.
Driver side torsion mount is busted (easy fix)
Drivers window pops out of the bracket and falls off track. Fixed (7/20/10)
Trans makes some noise. Pretty sure it's the input shaft bearing again. So I'll just Get a nice clutch and flywheel and swap the bearing while it's out.
Trunk needs to be realigned.
Drivers door Needs to be properly aligned
All windows and sunroof need to be lubed Done (6/10/10)
A/C belt needs to be put back on. (have a new one in the trunk) Fixed and working great. (6/5/10)
In Need of some serious interior cleaning

On to the pics. Keep in mind this thing is filthy. Just got it last night. Gonna wash it tonight.

yeah its a nice base. we get alot of snow here each year so the abs is kinda nice. plus your not going to get a 4-wheel disk ej without abs unless its been swapped from a teggy.

glad to see you back in the civic game. if you need any parts for your a/c let me know. pulled all of mine a few weeks ago. what are the plans after all of the fixing? and i would rent a carpet cleaner with upholstery attatchment for your floor and seats. did it in mine after i got it. ran 7 gal. worth of the water/solution through it and it made a HUGE difference.

Glad to be back. I actually fixed the a/c today. man it was a pain in the ass to put that belt on. i had to unbolt the ps pump and slide it aside. then unbolt the ps bracket so i could get my socket in there to loosen and tighten the a/c tensioner. worst place ever for a adjuster bolt. got it all done and the a/c is blowing cold so all in ll a good day.

oh and i can do one better on the interior. i work for a carpet cleaner company now and we actually clean auto interiors lol. super vac FTW lol

lol. i had/ have some issues with mine but decided to just rebuild the z6 for now and that should solve all my problems with my car. or at least the major ones. and you never said your future plans for it. or are you not sure yet.

yeah i saw. rod bearings blow lol.

i'm more or less going to go where i left off with the 95 ex i had. even though it was a sedan most of the parts will still work,

jdm b16 swap
ksport coilovers
willwood brakes all around
16" gram lights
get my magnaflow exhaust again
paint (thinking Captiva Blue Pearl)
jdm fogs
act stage two clutch with a 7lb fidanza flywheel again
mugen front lip and sideskirts
red/clear taillights (if i can find them again)
amber corners
still debating if i still want denjis or not
35% tint
bride seats
oem seibon cf hood

still more too but that'll do for now
Looks good man, good luck with your build...
thanks man

Well monday I went to go home from work and the car wouldnt start. instantly i thought "bet i'm not getting fuel". i disconnected the fuel line and cranked it over and sure enough. no fuel. That's right boys and girls. the dreaded main relay went out. gotta love hot days.

anyway. i waited 3 hours in the rain (and tornado) for my ride to get there. I took the damn relay with me. figured i would re-solder it and see where that got me.

then today i couldnt get a ride to work so i missed a day since my car was still at work. and to top it off i had to walk to the car to fix it. so a nice 12 mile walk and one hell of a sunburn later i got to the car. put the re-soldered relay back in and she fired right up.......and then died as i was leaving the lot. lol. guess it was just too old to be salvaged.

so i walked another 3 miles to pull a part (good thing i work close to both pull a pat and pic a part) and wen for a little junkyard dig. well there were six 5th gens there and four of them still had the relays. so i grabbed the two best looking ones and as i was walking out i found a nice little surprise. a 95 si hatch with the other parts i still needed. so i grabbed the gauge cluster (mines currently got one from a dx) and ill go back for the rest later (a new window, sunroof visor, and a few other odds and ends).

anyway. as many of you know, that main relay is a dealer only part now from honda and they want a good $90 for it. (yes you can get them online for cheaper) however, i paid a whopping $5 for both of them and another $8 for the cluster. gotta love pull a part lol

cars up and running again and hopefully it will stay that way now.
