^ i agree.

Errors are part of the game but shouldn't be when it comes to Officials, if the manager feels he has made a mistake he should have at least one challenge to dish out. I mean C'mon when have you seen the Ump make a call the Manager/coach didn't like and he storms the plate kicking up dust and the Ump takes the call back?... nope doesn't happen. They have too much control IMO and that's why it's so easy to take bribes.

Again for the record I'm not saying this was a bribe at all, This case was just an error that could of been avoided with the MLB at least allowing one Challenge per game.

I don't think it would be so bad if each team were given 2 challenges/game, if and only if the first challenge overturns a call. If the play stands, I don't think that team should be able to use the 2nd challenge.......just my opinion.

and that's the beauty of the game. When do you see a basketball, football, soccer or hockey coach get in the refs or umpire's face like that and not get thrown out of the game, baseball you can do that, to a certain point.

If you allow a team to have 2 challanges (like football) where would you put them into use? like, any call you can challenge? I would like to see that............the where to use them?

Baseball I think is the sport that least blown calls are made. I mean look at football, soccer, even basketball they are worst. Why? more activity, more movement, more too look at.

Baseball;

Home plate umpire.- Strike zone
First base umpire.- First base/right field
Second base umpire.- Second base/center field
Third base umpire.- Third base/left field

and all of them just looking at where the baseball is going, one play.............................

Man, love this game

:word: So Bud Selig doesn't appear to make any effort to change the call over and award galarraga a perfect game.....

Instant replay would definitely ruin the game imho... but it's nothing that steroids haven't already done :oh:
I think that getting the calls right would make the game better. How angry would you be if your favorite pitcher was in this situation and people called this the beauty of the game. its so stubborn and foolish to reject technology and change.
