Tokyo Drift just has a lot of flash in it. The car chase scene was absolute bullshit. You honestly think that the fastest way to weave in and out between traffic is through driffting? And dropping a Nissan 4-banger engine into a classic Mustang? It was all just a bunch of flash.

The s**t about the FF series is that you have to honestly see them all for what they are, movies about cars to make money & that's it. The strong point of FFTD was that the story line was more thorough in explaining where people were from and was just more detailed from point A to B

i myself am looking foward to the new one, i just hope it's not riced out again; that would be my only concern (and we all know it is unless Biz directs it but we know how that ends too)

as far as STREET racing goes.. F&F really had a HUGELY negative impact.. i used to go out a lot with really fast cars that would race discretely in the middle of nowhere.. a lot of times for money.. pretty exciting.. no drama or problems.. after F&F everyone was out trying to pretend like they were in the movie.. and we went from 5-10 9-13 second cars on any given night to 4 or 5 13-14 second cars and 50+ 16-20 second cars.. revving all over the place.. doing burnouts and just otherwise being lame.. this pulled in the attention of the police which f**ked everything all up.. I did watch the 1st one.. in fact i probably still own it somewhere.. but after that.. nope.. just a bunch of shitty movies with shitty acting.. i highly doubt ill watch this one..
