Why is it dumb? He broke a rule several times. He had a few infractions, we felt it was the best course, it's not a permaban.

He had a question, I answered as best I could without getting myself into trouble. We'll just leave it at that traction broke a rule (or two technically) and he defied Reg Mod and SMod warnings, so he got what any other member would have gotten.
