UPDATE:

Temperature gauge came in today, just waiting on my lighting module for the gauges to arrive:

Took a few lame shots today, this is the best one:

Always love the little updates.. let me know how the thermostat does, I may need one!... So why the faze gauge? I've ran em, they look cool but not 100% accurate... I'd say get some Auto Meters at least, or go with some Greddy Gauges... But that's just my 2 Cents... =)

I like the green illumination they have, and I really don't feel like switching to a different style since my dad bought the other gauges I have for me. They seem accurate to me all the time, my boost gauge is dead on.

Thanks a lot man, I have been committed to this car for a few years and I take my fathers suggestions into consideration. Can't complain when he buys parts for me and supports my build!

Here's a few more pics I had taken the other day, still waiting to install my thermostat, temp gauge, and gauge lighting.

Hopefully these pictures aren't too molested for mymmeryloss.. :D

God day-um! that paint is fresh!
Thank you, it's pretty clean, there's some imperfections... oh well.

UPDATE:
Ordered some stuff which was supposed to come in this friday... just received an e-mail that it was out of stock and won't ship until next week. :(

Nah man, you just love busting everyones balls!!

UPDATE:

Stuff finally came in today, its like 100 degrees which sucks, been needing these parts desperately. My engine gets to about 220 degrees while cruising on the highway. Hondata is set up to make the check engine light come on at this temperature and limit my revs to 5k. Hopefully the cure to this problem lies below:

DEI Turbo Jacket
DEI Thermal Manifold wrap
DEI Thermal Downpipe wrap

"Withstands 1800 degrees F direct / 2500 degrees F intermittent heat"

Bottoms up, open wastegate dump pipe FTW!

Have to use the metal straps to secure the turbo jacket, and then "get a wrap" on the situation... :D

I'll be sure to include updates as they occur, as most of you are probably wondering if it's worth it to wrap a beautiful manifold... I know, I hate doing it, but it HAS to be done!

i just went through this entire thread and read everything, this build is sick as f**k and seriously inspires me. i've seen many builds but yours is by far one of the best. i can't wait to really start on mine now.

as far as this, girls are bitches, unfortunately. but just keep your head up and focus on other things for now, a chick will come along who will be just as eager to work on your car as you are haha. shes out there somewhere!

Thanks a lot man, it's been quite a long build.. started the car way back when I got it in 2006 and have been at it since! This build is almost done, just a few changes going to happen here and there.. and I'll continue updating with pics because I'm that dedicated. As for the chick.. I've got her, we just were in some rough times.

UPDATE:

50 feet will not be enough to wrap my manifold.. ordered some more.. blah no cruising this weekend. ..thumbs down!

Thanks bro! The volks are really tempting.. but I'm really poor of course and can't afford such baller wheels quite yet. :(

You can get some volks for a decent price. They aren't that baller. Save up for them. It will be worth it. You will love them everytime you look at your car.

True, very true. I also have a hard time deciding on what wheels I want to finally settle down with.. hah. White doesn't seem like a good choice to me because they'll need a lot of cleaning and quite frankly, I'm lazy!

UPDATE:

Wrap is done.. results seem to be lacking as of right now.. it was up to 210 degrees last night.. I came home and put it back in the garage.. I'm frustrated. Someone help me! Does it take awhile for the wrap to shrink and make a difference? Or maybe 210 was as hot as it would get and it did make a difference.. I just didn't feel like pushing the car to find out last night..

Pics, last one being a money shot.

Enjoy, comments/criticism welcome.
