^^That sends up big red warning lights to me. One of the top players in the first couple games? This leads me to believe that skill is not necessary, and that a new player can easily come on and be just as good as somebody who's been playing for a long time and knows the game. Or am I mistaken?

you're mistaking... its tons of strategy to stay alive. You need to keep around a medic if you want to go for a while after getting shot, or you may want to keep need an assault class for ammo. Battlefield doesn't offer regenerating health. Which means it very unfriendly to n00bs and people with no skill.

I was quick to dismiss the game early on, but as I played more and more I figured out how I should be playing and I'm getting better as I go. Fact is, if you have a team that doesn't want to be a team players, you're f**ked.

Exactly.

You also have "Squads" and you get extra points for your squad capping points, killing enemies, destorying vehicles. I would find a guy that was a team player, and run with him. We'd cover each other, work together, do all this with no voice communication. If I died, I could count on him reviving me, or if I was injured, him throw me a health pack. He could count on me the same way on throwing him a ammo pack.

As far as MW2 modding. I think it's far less common than people make it out to be. Just because some people can't do something, doesn't mean that nobody can do it. I've been called an auto-aimer when I'd turn the corner and know that somebody usually hides, crouched down in a particular spot. So I'd have the reticule aimed right at their head level and shoot. I've been told I have a modded controller because I have a really fast trigger finger with single shot weapons. I've personally only seen maybe 3 or 4 cases of genuine modding in the game and I've been playing since it came out.

I think it happens way more than people think. And as for the auto-aim, Im not talking about the person aiming at me around the corner.....Im talking about their reticle snapping onto my exact position after they round the corner.

Yeah i would playt some games if my box woould work consistently. I didnt want to wait 4 days for the exchange thru Best Buy. It has been working but now its not. I want one of the new ones but i dont think i could come up with $300 right now.

Hmm, honestly can't say I've seen the crosshairs ever snap into place like you described. All the modding I've seen is speed hacks and once I saw a handgun shooting like a machine gun.

I see s**t shooting like machine guns all the time. FAL's, pistols, semi-auto sniper rifles. It actually gets pretty ridiculous sometimes.....but then there is a lot of satisfaction when you can actually beat a team that is modding

You get 100 for the box with the cable and a controller, harddrives go from 30-50 depending on which size you're trading in. Plus you would probably need the hard drive transfer cable for 20 bucks which is painful

You MIGHT need to pay for a transfer cable. However, I have a feeling they'll probably transfer your data for free. It just makes sense to me.

I have a transer cable that came with my 120 gig hd. I didnt see anything about it saying the console needed to work. Maybe i should bring mine in and get it swapped out!

I got a console, a 120gig drive, a card, a wireless controller and a wired controller. Maybe i should send my box back thru Best Buy and then take that to Gamestop and upgrade!!

It would be awesome, but only have 1 controller and the 20gb hard drive. I would only get a total of $130 for this, just not worth it to me.
