I bought amber LED bulbs a couple months ago and I was really disappointed. From what I read on other threads, It seems like a lot of other people were disappointed as well. I had a lot of hot and cold spots around my cluster and since I have aftermarket motor mounts with 60a bushings, some of my bulbs would flicker and even stay off.

I bought these bulbs a dollar a pop, a lot cheaper than the LED ones.

Buh bye LEDs

My LEDs, they were growing weak in brightness each day.

BAM, the incandescent one pwns.

Those look 912 bulbs. If they are you can pick them from ay parts store. Also most parts stores keep the individuals in teh back and usually are only about $0.20 each.

So paying $1.00 is about retail for the dual packs that usually run around $1.49-$2.49 a pair.

Also he problem with those bulbs is you will be replacing them more often than a LED.

No doubt that they look good but incandescent are just that. They burn out even faster when they are in a small area where heat cant escape. 912 bulbs are designed primarily for turn signals and third brakes lights.

Just keep them on hand for when one burns out.

Personally I would have gotten a better LED. LED's are great, low voltage use and they last for freaking ever.

^^ Thanks for this info, OP and Wax Hands. Been meaning to do this soon, and wasn't about to pay Honda for SI OEM bulbs.
