hello everyone, im 17 years old and I have been doing an engine swap on my 89 honda civic over the past couple days and i am down to the final bits and pieces. One thing i cannot figure out is where one little wire goes? along the main circuit wire right by the starter motor there is a 3 inch long wire (black with red stripe, and a brown with black stripe) that i cannot figure out where it goes. Please help me and get back to me soon (i would like to get this car on the road).

I'm pretty sure those are for Pins A16 and A18 and are LG1 and LG2. In that case, they should be grounded to the block or chassis.

Hope that helps.

17, young and don't know much?? And you are doing your own swap!! Either you know more then you think you know, or please identify yourself.... so none of us buy your car. Jk!! Take pics with your camera phone, or digi camera, send to your email (camera phone) Download pics to your computer....., use a site like tinypic or snapfish and upload photos from computer to site. Then click, copy and paste URL in your message. (tinypic is easy, gives you different options like "for message boards" etc...

sounds like the ground wires for the ECU, main relay and most of the sensors - has a round ring connector on the end and should connect to a bolt on the thermostat housing
