sticky accelerator

ok, I got two questions for all you Honda veterans. Why the f**k does my accelerator seem to be sticky when pressed down? I've driven 2 other Honda's, plus mine, and they all had an accelerator issue. Here's the issue, when I start pressing down my accelerator, it won't go down smoothly or in a fluid motion. In other words, I'll start to press it down, hit a certain point (maybe an inch or less closer to the floor) and it suddenly becomes more difficult and I have to press harder to get it to go down more. I drove a del sol awile back with the same issue. My throttle cable seems to be fine so I'm stuck as to where the problem is coming from.

Second question, do the front bumpers off 96-98 civics bolt up to a 99? thanks

throttle body needs to be clean , that lil butterfly door has got some dirt built up around it, clean it out and spray some wd40 on your throttle cable, and you should be golden

No, the headlights and hood are different. Front ends for the 96-98 are different than the 99-00 models.
