5 spd tranny question

i have a honda civic ef hatchback and i was just wondering what transmission will fit for my car and motor i have a d16zc dohc swapp in it at the moment and was just trying to find out what tranny's will fit. i got a good deal for one out of a si for 50 bucks but i am unsure if it will fit thats where i need help thanks

Yes it will work just fine you just have to check the years for the number of splines . I think some are 21 and some are 20

wwell what do ya think do u think that the 92 si tranny would fit my engine the d16zc its a 89 motor but i got another guy with a 89 si tranny i was jus thinkking the 92 cuase it was newwer and might have less miles which u think i should get am leaaving to go pick one up soooooon,...... rly wanna be back on the road

89 is going to be a cable clutch and the 92 is going to be hydrolic clutch.

got the 89 si tranny for my zc motor i was jus wondering if i am gonna have to get the manual for the si tranny cause i have never rly worked on a fwd trans
