Some toothbrush work:

Used my old backseat as a seat for my dog, so she can chill while I work on the car.

Fenders are off:

Mounted intercooler, it's not in the center it's slightly to the left on the bottom of the bumper support. I'll take a more clear pic later to show that. This way the piping won't have to go all the way around to the turbo, it can go on the inside, where the air conditioner used to be.

Our Sweet Sound System:

Bay:

My homie David taking off a fender:

News:
- New downpipe that has the exhaust on the right side will be here soon. From there I can see where everything like the muffler, resonator ( if I use one ) will be placed, etc.
- Also the bay looks basically like that picture minus the cruise control.
- I will practice driving stick with a buddy real soon. Haven't done it in a while. I know, embarrasing.

News:
- Thinking about taking out power steering because I'm really getting into the clean and tucked bay look.
- Will most likely be selling my wheels with tires to a guy here in town and then getting either cpr's or trak r's. Or who knows, maybe something else. Any opinions on what might look good on this car? si's? idk. FEEDBACK PLEASE
- got new downpipe with the flange on the right side this time
- decided on not using a resonator and making a test pipe with some piping laying around and will use the o2 bung off of the old downpipe that didn't work as the other o2 sensor.
- Am getting to thinking that this project might have to go through winter. Because, once school starts I really won't have any time to be working on it. And if it isn't done when school starts ( aug 30th ) then it's for sure going through the winter, because I wouldn't be driving it in the winter anyways. I mean let's hope it doesn't come to that, but I'd rather have this done slow and right than fast and shitty.
- gonna be working on it again soon but the next few days will be busy.
- gonna re weld the flange for the dumptube on Sat. and also reweld so the flange is turned the right angle for my turbo also. Pics of those will be up once it's done.
- pics of the new downpipe will also be up soon

Nice build.

As far as wheels, I think some mint Si's would look good, although I've always liked how gold wheels looked on CGP civics.

I like si's but it seems like everyone in my town has em.

these are the wheels I may be getting ( the exact ones, ha )

- What do you mean by CGP?
ALSO:
- bought a tow hook. I'll post a pic when it's on.
- the guy im getting tran stuff from is starting ripping his apart real soon. So it's just a matter of when it's off of his then it's mine.

Thanks man! Me too and I get that alot. Not a very popular color.
Anybody think gold or bronze wheels would look good with that color?

I have a 4door in the same color, gold rims look really slick on it, doing the upper grill in a gold tint as well.

I think he means the color of your car, clover green pearl. Not 100% on that though.

Yep trak R's

Wheels aren't on my top priority, I need to afford school in the fall, and the spring. And also this is only if the guy that wants my wheels actually buys them. so yea

I also really want a bike rack. I have a bike too BTW.

Just a thought : if the car doesn't get done by the time school starts, it's for sure going to go through the winter. Because, once school start I won't have time or money to be working on it, and also it will be stored during the winter anyways. SO, my thought was that I could just spend a little money on some eagle rods and vitrara pistons and run some more boost and do the ARP studs that I already have. I've heard of people making 300 to 400whp EASILY on just that. So yea, I'd really like it all to be done before the end of summer but I'd rather do it right and slow than fast and shitty. Plus I'd do that down the road anyways and this would save on a tune later down the road, I could just tune it once and call her good if I do the build.

Yea, thanks. I love how rare this color is. :D

Also, I just got back from my brother's wedding in which I was the best man. And now I'm home and will be getting parts from a friend with a y8 and doing an ls/vtec build. So anyday now I will get parts from him for the auto -> manual stuff and then I will order the p28 with hondata on it any day now. :word:

great build, doing pretty much the same thing. same exact car except mine is vogue silver metallic, lol and it came automatic. I just did the transmission swap 2 1/2 weeks ago. Right now, just planning how i want the turbo build phase to go.

Nice! Well, you should def. stay tuned and also in the 6th gen forum. Because I'm getting my parts today and will most likely need some help with the whole auto -> manual stuff.

sure will, the process should be straight forward, the only thing that slowed me down was the obstruction keeping the shift linkage from seating correctly, called a windgate or something like that. Took me forever to take it off with a mallet and screw driver lol (only thing i had at the moment to do the job), once I had it off just cut some sheet metal from lowes for the hole size and jb weld it on. There is countless easier ways to do it, but i was unprepared at that step.

Just that swap made a bigggg difference lol

I'm getting blue fox's soon with +30 ( Low! ) offset, 15x7. And maybe later get wheel spacers for them. I've been seeing some hondhttp://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/aclk?sa=l&ai=Bl1kTMUZkTPnNI8-VnQfanvWCC_aEybsBmKTgoQnO_-PdGdDpXxABGAIg6Lf1ATgAUPHX6aoCYMme0IzcpNgWsgERd3d3LmNsdWJjaXZpYy5jb226AQk3Mjh4OTBfYXPIAQLaAT1odHRwOi8vd3d3LmNsdWJjaXZpYy5jb20vYm9hcmQvc2hvd3RocmVhZC5waHA_dD0xODcyNzkmcGFnZT034AEDwAIEyALO68oSqAMByAMF6APLBugDWfUDAAEAxA&num=2&sig=AGiWqtwoc1RpHudDudS0SZcR6yMLkFSldw&client=ca-pub-9933629913428459&adurl=http://autos.yahoo.com/carcenter/car_insurance.html%3B_ylc%3DX3oDMTF1dWhzMDIyBF9TAzk3MDM4MDQ5BGsDc3VwZXJfYXV0b3NfaW5zdXJhbmNlBHNlYwNjcG0Ec2xrA3NpdGVfdGFyZ2V0aW5n%3Fp%3Dsuper_autos_insurance%26refsrc%3D%252Foffnetwork%252Fcpm%252Fgoogle%252Fsitetargeting%252Fsuper_autos_insurance%26ovt%3D1&nm=3as with low offsets and wider wheels and I love the look!
These are the Bluefox's:

This might be up here already, but this is the car from a while back, before I started all this. lol

I'm gonna be rocking these until I get the Bluefox's
