Wastegate may not be hooked up properly... you need to have pressure applied to keep the valve closed.

you might want to check the vaccum hose and also make sure everything is bolt up right.

definitely start with a boost leak since its the simplest problem to fix. also might want to check out your boost controller. the other ebay parts you mentioned wouldnt cause that kind of a problem

Wait, you never clarified if it drops to 1psi or it drops 1psi in pressure. What is your boost controller set to and what is the psi your gauge is reading? What size is your turbo? Is it a new setup or have you had this on for a while?

Check the springs in your boost controller and wastegate. Also check for ballooning on your couplers.
Also, it could just be boost taper.

Check for boost leaks and vaccum leaks. If you dont have a boost leak tester you can use soap/ water. also check the spark, make sure your plugs/ wires arent causing a misfire.

im running 11psi then it drops to 9.5.. my boost controler is on 4 clicks
You need to post your set up. You also need to keep in mind that manual boost controllers settings change with atmospheric conditions.
