Ive only been to a dealer once and they tried to sell me a $17,000 truck. I even had them take alot of the stuff off and i still couldnt afford it and the guy couldnt get it through his head that it was too much!

When I was searching for a car, I found a 2000 Cilica 5spd. I called up and asked how many miles were on it, the guy says "a little over 100k"....to me that means like 105-110k max. He says "yea come check it out, ask for me....my name is mustache." I went in to test drive it, and still never found out the guys real name. Had like 130k miles on it, needed a new headlight housing, paint was chipped, and it needed a new shifter. I realized the knob wasnt really attached, so I just pulled it right off. It was sitting on the shaft.....previous owner took a hacksaw to the shaft and tried to glue the knob back on. Homemade short shifter FTL. They had the balls to ask 7k for that. After that I said that was the last time I tried to buy a car from a dealership.

I found the same car with 10 k less miles.. I told the dealer to beat the price by 15oo..
