Radio Relocate - Need Pocket

I relocated my radio to the lower cupholder area. Does anyone know of a site where I can but a pocket to put where the radio was. If not does anyone know a place where I can get a cover to go there. I don't have anything to make a cover with or else I would do it myself. I don't even have anything to cut plastic, so there isn't any point in buying materials.

putting your headunit in the lower din is a bad idea imo, b/c it makes your cup holders useless except for spare change. if you have a cup in there you cant reach your cd player, and if you take the cup out with your right hand you have to set the cup in your lap to adjust the cd player :smackself

upper din FTW

I would agree with that totally, but my pioneer can have wired remotes. So I'm in the process of making a wired remote that I'll put on my steering wheel. For 80 bucks I could buy one that came with an LCD screen even. So I wouldn't lose any functionality. Plus I hid all the wires for my gps and other gadgets behind where the radio was. So by relocating the radio I can just pop out the new cubby / plate and unhook stuff and take it out. Before it I had to take apart my entire dash to do it. So in this case, it wont harm the use of the radio at all. Plus I was able to recess my radio enough that the cup holder lid when open and a cup in there I can still put 1 finger behind it to tap the 7 way vol/seek control and not even have to look. But these are also special circumstances compared to most peoples setups. --------Basically I did a wire tuck and it made everything alot easier to manage with the radio relocated. I even found some pioneer steering wheel control units that are premade to attach to your steering wheel. (I'll probably just find some odd place I like it at instead). As for the steering wheel controls here are the models CD-SR100 101 and a few others if anyone is interested in the same thing.

I'm going to bump this one last time and see what happens. I didn't really get the answers I was looking for, the link I was given only shows block off plates, which is fine, but I'm trying to give it one last shot at finding a pocket/cubby to go there before I get a block off plate which is my last resort option. So my question to you readers is this. Does anyone know where I can get a single din pocket/cubby. I know they make this kinda thing for double dins to put your radio in as well. Maybe best idea is to get one of those and modify it til it fits? If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
