Seat Belt chime

Hey all....Newbie here and I need some help.

I'm trying to disable the seat belt chime on my '05 HCH. You know the one that beeps every 30 seconds and is annoying to no end? I just can't seem to find the sequence I need to go through to disable it. I've found the one for an '07 Si, but no luck on getting it to work on my '05 hybrid.

Any thoughts? TIA!

maybe even a way to turn it down to a bearable annoying beep?

there is a simple fix to this, hard wire the switch in the seat belt. Meaning, pull out your seat, look where the seat belt is bolted down next to your seat, you should see two wires comming from the female buckle, splice those two wires together and you have tricked your car into thinking your seatbelt never comes off. BUT YOU WILL VOID THE SRS warranty. another way to go about this is to ebay or junk yard search for a seat belt, take the male end, cut it off, and insert it into the buckle, wah lah. fixed.
they also make the male ends out of plexiglass but they are not very popular. or you could always wear your damn seatbelt!!!!! it saves lives you know
