I have been creepin since I joined, I finally come out from hiding. I know it is supposed to be like this, and I want it to be like the jdm fogs, my fog lights in my 92 hatch are factory and I want them to come on when I want them and not just only with the headlights. If anyone can help it is appreciated. =)

I bought mine with a kit. It came with the button to turn them off and on. If you dont have one, you have to buy a kit. Not sure if the factory ones for your year came with a button. My car year is 97. Definetely get the ones that turn on and off.

I have the switch, but when the switch is pushed in (on) they still only come on when the headlights are on, not with the high beams or the running lights or just the fog lights. Which I want.

That's because they are running off of the power from the headlights. If you want them to come on when ever you hit the switch then you have to wire them to either ignition, accessory or constant power. If you wire them to ignition or accessory then avoid the risk of running your battery dead from forgetting to turn them off cause they will go off when you shut your car off. If you wire them to constant then you will have to turn them off every time you shut your car off.

Thats the way their SUPPOSED to work. But if you want it to work improperly, change the power line to your ignition accessory.

if they are wired to accessory or ignition it won't drain the battery. just as long as you wire it in AFTER the ignition or accessory. this way, the fog light switch will be only have power available when the ignition is switched to accessory or ON
