I had a question because i dont really know a lot about sound systems, i have a 1986 vw beetle, and i wanted to put 2 12 inch kickers L7, each one as 750 watts, but people tell me that with one is enough because the car is connected, pretty much like a hatch... Do you guys think i should get 1 or 2...

My god. One 10 should be good enough for your car. Just get one 12 but if you get both for a good deal, keep one and sell the other.

one is good enough L7s have a larger surface area then a 12inch round subwoofer get a good mono block and capacitor and you'll be good. i would get a sealed enclosure.

You will be satisfied with one 12. Unless you want all bass and no mids at all. Some people actually like that, I certainly don't.

Oh, like the vocals, the people singing. Some people just get huge subs and thats it, they don't upgrade the front and or rear speakers.

I've even seen people with just upgrade and additional tweeters LOL so nasty. tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk.

Are you removing your rear seat completely? I had one 12 in both of my past Beetles and it barely fit behind the seat. There isn't much room back there.

1986 Beetle? Your front end looks like a mid 60s unless that isn't yours in the sig or the fenders have been swapped.

Yeah and this one is connected with the trunk so its gonna be louder...

Ahh. I see now. I thought that looked older. '86 should have the flat head lights.

Going in the trunk would be even worse. There is even less space there than behind the seat.

If you take the back seat out there is a ton of options for you. Here is a pic of my buddies old bug. He had 2 12s and had the back of the back seat out. He left the bottom for emergencies. It was way too loud in my opinion. There isn't much room in the bugs for the sound to dissipate. I was very happy with 1 12 inch.
