Cancel the order on the hood and buy wheels/suspension instead.

Why are you getting rid of a perfectly good hood, for a trend that died awhile back? Seriously cancel the order on the hood and at least get suspension.

My TEIN coilovers I got for $500 shipped.

I would only get the hood if you plan on Drag racing and want to cut weight... otherwise keep the hood you got and go with suspension. TEIN or Skunk 2 and defiantly get a camber kit!!!

Yea man, forget the hood and buy your suspension, your car will look 10x better! You are doing the steps wrong, your priority should not be da damn hood. And rims are not cheap, look for them in craigs list when your daddy is gives you da ok. You could get an ok suspension for 600$ your hood is probably running you 500$ or so. stop being stubborn.

Camber kit will keep your tires from wearing down to much on one side... typically the inside of your tires will wear out quickly due to car being lowered.

No camber kit = /_/ - looking tires
Camber kit = I_I - looking tires... Make sense?

And be easy on the guys ladies and gents... He is here to be educated, not ridiculed.

EXACTLY...don't listen to people's idea of what they think your car should look like...When the car gets dropped, I think those wheels will look a lot better...It's up to you what you want more, the hood or the suspension, either way do your car your way!!!

Personal opinion... I would go with Skunk 2 due to the fact there design is easy to use (some alignment people can be dumb and simplicity helps) and they use quality materials. Usually you get what you pay for and in the case of protecting the life of your tires... a camber kit can save you some serious coin down the road.

Coilovers... that way you can adjust them when needed. Should your stock struts be worn... then I would replace those as well. But defiantly get coilovers.

Another suggestion down the road would be to get OEM fog lights... they add a very nice touch to the 99-00 civic.
