What do you guys think of v8's?

Everyone who participates in this thread, be warned. I will be watching this thread. Anything getting out of line will be infraction worthy.

Anyway, it really depends on what you are trying to get out of a car. If you just want straight line speed, V8's are GREAT, have lots of torque, and have SOOOO much potential. If you want something to take to an auto-x course, you will need some pretty good suspension work to get it up to par with some cars, but you will most likely still be lacking.

Personally, I wish I had a V8 car right now. But money isnt rolling out of my ass, so gas mileage was a little bit more important.

I'm taking a different direction on this thread. I personally dislike regular/spicy V8s and refused to drink them. Then they came out with the V8 splash, which in all actuality was just like an overloaded sugar laden fake juice drink. One they came out with V8 fusion though, the mango and the acai blueberry flavors have all but guaranteed that I get my daily helpings of fruits and vegetables.

dam that a great idea, didnt evne think outside the box for v8's. been workign out and eating healthy for the past 1 1/2 months now.

V8s are appealing to me when they are boosted otherwise a lot of older V8s lack the hp which turbocharged four-bangers were making more power.

I think v8s are only good for burning rubber and drag races, other than that there no good for circuits, sharp turns, etc... Wheres the fun in a straight line???... Besides in a drag race only the car gets the credit, and in a circuit the driver does...
