Wow, I got nothing  That was great. I love you guys!!!

yeah.. rwd and torque.. definitely no fun in the turns... ;)
I agree with this. s**t my V6 with 200 lb-ft was fun around turns. Its not as much as your car has, but it was DEFINITELY enough. I kicked the back end out in 3rd with 8 inch wide wheels on an entrance ramp once, almost s**t my pants  Its also a whole different experience losing traction when taking a sharp turn in a RWD car, something that most Civic drivers wont experience in their cars.

I think v8s are only good for burning rubber and drag races, other than that there no good for circuits, sharp turns, etc...:thumbdown Wheres the fun in a straight line???... Besides in a drag race only the car gets the credit, and in a circuit the driver does...:thumbs up
I beg to differ on the corner thing. I just witnessed this last weekend...

I know a guy with two miatas. One is completely setup for the Targa Newfoundland race, fast as f**k. He also has a Miata with a small block Chevy but very little else done.

The V8 Miata is 2-3 seconds faster per lap on a 1-minute course.

V8 does not mean you can't corner and those who propagate that idea have obviously little to no experience on a track with one.

Isn't a ls1 lighter than a wankel twinturbo? The fast ones around here usually have one stuck in there.

there's a sweet 2000 camaro ss 6spd for sale around here. Unfortunately I don't think he wants my ej1 and I don't have cash for all that

i think Honda/Acura should offer a V8....

"gas-efficiency" is not an arguement anymore. Look at all the new cars with powerful engines & good MPG being offered by other car companies...
the new Mustang GT, Hyundai Genesis coupe, the Corvette...etc...

True on that, i use to have an 84 mustang GT and in first gear i use to step on the gas and the car would start doing donuts...

wait theres actually people who prefer fwd?
Who? Personally I would love to have an 04-05 WRX as a daily and so I can have something good in the snow, and then something RWD as a project car.

v8's are inefficient, bad on gas and not worth the money. Especially the useless carb'd ones.

Oh here we go.....
1. How are they inefficient? They make great horsepower and even better torque.
2. Bad gas mileage? The LS1 that came out in 1998 makes about 24-26mpg, thats pretty f**king good.
3. Not worth the money? Headers on a V8 will yield more gains than an entire I/H/E combo will on any Honda.

You are just throwing s**t out there and have NO real claims.
