i felt the same way, i was looking for a clean one for a while.. unfortunately it was auto but i didnt mind it

Its clean, but automatic is not cool, unless your gonna make it a 5-speed...

Depending if your running stock struts or not? if you are and they are really old id do a spring strut combo.. you can actually get a pretty good deal on some of them. In near future i might get the skunk2 combo but i hear they are really stiff.

wouldnt you be replacing the struts either way?

Yup
Its because the old struts cant handle the new springs.
