Building custom cluster for the Mustang need input..

The factory gauges on my Mustang are complete garbage.. So I am replacing them with all Auto Meter stuff..

the gauges are carbon fiber series gauges with black bezels.. trying to decide what material I want the housing made out of.. I can use just a black plastic.. or a carbon fiber type pattern..

i like the carbon fiber style better i think it flows more with the guages, and the black bezels set it off pretty nice, gives it a good off set between the CF

dan is on the right page. unless you drive a roadster like a miata chrome bezels looks kinda dumb. autometer cf gauges are so white trash its not even funny if it was an import i would say get the defi's but autometer belong in a stang

I vote plain black. The carbon fiber just doesnt look right if the faces of the gauges are carbon fiber.

I vote plain black too. But I kind of like the chrome edge. It kind of makes it "pop". I think it goes well with the yellow on the gauges.

I think it would look really good with the black gauges and the brushed aluminum looking finish on the Clarion unit.

My vote is fir black it just looks cleaner. I only like carbon fiber in small doses though.
