whats up. name is dean aka grumpz. nice to meet yall. i have a 1992 honda civic dx 4dr pretty much stock expect for simple bolt ons. it has a d15b7. i swapped out the original engine with one with 90k cuz it smoked like crazy when i got it hence why i knick named her smokey! it was rough when i got her but i got her in a trade for a coupe automatic. it was alot nicer than what i traded for the only difference was it is a 5 speed. I CANT DRIVE AUTOMATIC NEVER HAVE NEVER WILL LIKE THEM. as far as plans for her: i wanna end up with about 200 to 250 whp for a dd. maybe more down the line. i just recently got a z6 complete head for a mini swap i wanna do for her along with the z6 tranny i got aswell just waiting to have money to buy the rest of the parts needed to install those parts...later on the road i will start building a bottom end b7 for turbo. but thats far far donw the line...money is tight so progress is slow but definately moving any advice suggestions or questions are welcome. thx

anywayz here are some pics for beginning to present.
she was rough when i got her

after doing some body work and primering her (with my bros help). i lowered her on dropzone coils.

i got some chrome rims for her it wasnt what i really wanted but i got them cheap so be easy on a brotha ha ha

now i have 17" rs limited concept pro silver with polished lip. had to raise it a little do to being and inch bigger but i really like how it sits might just lower the front a little bit more.

i also installed a fidanza short shifter and a carbon fiber nockoff from and autoparts ha ha it will do for now

sorry bout the mess but atleast u see tools...ha ha.
as far as the engine bay its all mostly stock expect for a aem short ram and a bosal header. a bit of cuztom artwork on the valve cover done by yours truly. lol.

and here is a pic of the z6 complete head i got for 80$ not bad huh just gonna clean it up buy the rest of the stuff i need to put it on and see what i get out of it. along with the z6 tranny i just bought too a while ago.

came a long ways with this! great job. I would personally go for smaller wheels, anything over 16's are just to big.

Thx . And yeah I wanna swap them out for some 16's but I can't find anyone wanting too. I will soon though. Next weekend I should be putting in the z6 tranny. Will post pics.

thx man yeah i like them too i just wanna change the tire size. right now its rockin 215-45-17 i wanna get 205-40-17 they'll fit better. as far as the z6 tranny im just waiting for some money this mon to buy the tranny fluid and ill be swappin out trannies. f**k yeah!!!! then ill be concentrating on the z6 head.

fuk yeah man. imma be using a y8 head gasket so i can raise the compression way more. then later on imma get another z6 head and do a p&p on it and see how that works out.

thx bro its a workin progress imma be painting her metallic black and then imma go get those rims sand blasted so i can paint them a mat black with a polished lip. u know i dont want anything shiny.

Shiny. Thx. It was late last night didn't catch that. Anyway, yeah I know bro. I'm just going with higher compression in the mean time. Its gonna bbe a while til I start boostin her. I wanna do everything rite. When I do go turbo I'm gonna want to stay in the low 9's. Using perhaps vitara's with some eagle rods. Not sure bout the bearing. Any sugestions on a decent brand to go with?
