AEM Short Ram Fitment

Hey I was just wondering if a AEM short ram from a 2002 si will fit and work without modification on my 97 d16y8????

i dont think it would work at all. becouse when they ask for the year of your car when you go to order it. its for a reason. the reason is. the engin bay is diffrent and shaped differnt. so the intake for your car and the intake for the 2002 si is going to be diffrent and the 2002 si has the k20 and if im not mistaking the k20 intake is on the front of the motor and the y8 is on the back of the motor. but if im wrong im sure some one well tell you diffrent

It does not fit. The 7th gen intakes go up from the engine, then under and over.
6th gens just go curve and over. You will have to buy a new intake if you want one for your 97 d16y8.

P.S. In your sig, it's vtec. not vtech ;)

Thanks for the info, and yea I noticed that like yesterday but was just to lazy to change it lmao
