So on 7-20-2010 I bought stuff for $300 and Its been about 17 days and never got anything in the mail yet. I check his profile and it said scammer all over it now. I check his feedback and apparently he scammed two other people. So Tim Sturtevant, if you have another account did you send my stuff or did you take my $300 and sent s**t? Apparently you live in Indiana. He will probably read this and laugh but that was my f**king paycheck I worked hard for.

Heres and update to the claim I filed, It took two weeks to get it all figured out and just got these two emails from paypal
"We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.
We were able to recover $170.00 USD and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.
If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.
If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges."
I got two of the same emails one for the $170 and $130 ammount. I'm pretty happy I'm getting the money back, Thanks for the information about filing a claim "NIKE H34D" I would of never thought of doing that.

Glad you got your money back, I googled the name and the only thing I found besides clubcivic was some xbox site. It looks like he uses the same name to play Halo, I don't use XBox so I don't know how it works but if there is messaging or anything maybe people can bombard him?
That would be funny, but I got my money back which I'm happy. If I wasn't able to get any money back I was gonna try to find the guys address and drive over to his house. Hopefully he will be surprised when he goes to an ATM and find a -$300 on his account.

Man. Luckily you got your money back pretty quickly. There is a brick load of info about that mofo scamming other people for their hard earned money.

PayPal is usually VERY good about getting people their money back if they've been scammed.
I pay with credit card THROUGH PayPal so I have like double protection lol. I've been scammed for $350 and (I believe) $500 and I've gotten my money back both times now.

This just happened to me, but about a month ago, but luckly paypal refunded my money. Im glad that you got the money back! stay away from tim!
Okay I dont mean to thread jack, but it is related since we are talking about paypal refunding money. I had a couple things on ebay, and one of the auctions was won buy a new guy with 0 feedback. Obviously not ideal. So its been 4 days and he hasnt paid. I messaged him twice, to no avail. So I opened up an unpaid item case. Now if I am understanding how ebay has the guidelines.......they try to contact him for 4 days. If he STILL does not pay, they will credit me the item value.......AND I still get to keep the item? If thats the case, thats f**kin ballin. Anyone with experience, please chime in.

and vj, after that 4 days you can close the case and click one of the reasons why, i think no payment is one of the options. after that you shouldnt be charged anything and you can relist it again. happened to me before also with 0 feedbacks
