Toshiba announced a dual-screen laptop in the first half of a year, and it appears that it is a real product that is actually coming to market. Called the Libretto W105, it’s a limited edition model with no physical keyboard. Spec wise, it’s not anything too exciting, a 1.2GHz Pentium, 2 GB of RAM, a 62GB(?) hard drive, and Window 7 Home premium. Dual screens or not, the Libretto is priced at a wallet melting $1,099.99! While Amazon does have the Libretto W105 available for pre-order, there is no actual release date listed as of press time. Dual 7-inch touchscreens are cool and all, but without the proper software, I doubt this thing will be much of a game changer.

Dunno if I'd ever get one, but I love where technology is going.

Horrible marketing! That song and video did not inspire me to want to shell out money. That said it looks like a neat device. I am interest to hear if the touch screen is pressure based like most touch screens or a capacitive touch screen like the ipad and iphone.

I don't remember Nintendo coming out with a dual touch-screen laptop. the DS is for young asian girls to play on the bus. No self-respecting man owns one. This on the other hand...

Yeah, I probably wouldn't buy this. But, to think what is coming in the future is pretty awesome. The only thing that will hold back these ultra-mobile laptops is the availability of wifi hot spots.
