if anybody knows a lot about the SI's from 2006 and up please let me know. i will send you a pm with all the info..

thanks.

ok here are the info..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130420861786&viewitem=&_trkparms=algo=LVI&its=I&otn=2&category=6256#v4-46

that one.. the guy said i can take over his loan which is 17,500 or just give him like 15,000 with rims and all... it had 3 owners.. only 50k miles.. but check that out...

then theyre is this.. 70,000 miles... and has these mods: HFP wheels, K&N Cold Air Intake, Headers, Throttle Body Spacer, Torque Dampener, Magnaflow Catback Exhaust, and Halos. i can get this car for $11,500 at the lowest.... he says it works fine.. not one thing wrong with the car... its a 2006

i am being told that the black one on ebay is too much.. not worth it. the guy is asking for the amount he owes for his loan when its not even worth that much..

You are on the right track.....Go to your bank and see what kind of line of credit they are willing to offer you...

If your dad doesnt co-sign for the loan, your dad cant put his name on the title. If his name isnt on the title, he cant put the car under his insurance. If you are the primary applicant on the loan, and your dad co-signs, your credit score will be effected the same as if he didnt co-sign. Take the time to have your dad co-sign. Trust me, you dont want to be a 19 year old male on your own insurance policy for an almost new Civic Si. You would be paying as much, if not more for insurance as your car payments.

well when i was withdrawing money from my checkings, the lady was like how old ru.. i said 19.. this was when i asked about a loan.. shes like yeah you would need your dad to be the co signer..

but he keeps saying we will fill out the application then tomorrow says same thing then it just repeats.... i am under his insurance right now... i just wish i could pay the car under my own name... i got 4 grand cash right now.. i can get that SI down to around 11...

I know, but like I said dude.....if you put the loan in your name you will be f**ked. Auto loans arent hard to get, the car is collateral in case you dont pay....thats why the interest rates are lower than personal loans. But your dad needs to co-sign the loan, or you will have to put the car in your name and under your own insurance policy. I can guarantee that you dont want to do that. Just have a talk with him, tell him you really want to get it done.

^^ couldnt have said it better myself. before you go talking to the bank about a loan you should get a quote from the insurance company. 19 year old male, unmarried, maybe going to school? with full coverage that Si is going to cost you probably $1200-1500 a year

I wouldn't buy either car. The first one is too much and the second one has been beat on.

i would put that 4,000 towards a cheaper car. your only 19 you don't want the hassle of loans right now

Depending on where he lives, that may be way off. My insurance is $2k and I have a 2003 EX. If I were to get an 8th gen Si, I think it would cost close to $3k a year.

When it has been modded, it is likely that it was beaten on. Like I said in my PM, I would strongly recommend you bring it to a shop and have it checked out.
