the golf course near me has a full 18, then i also has a small executive course, just a small 9 hole, all par 3. Great little course for working on your short game

$9 @ twilight! so I try to play friday afternoons.

I just recently started playing more and more again and just recently started noticing that I'm actually improving.

Last time I went, i shot 8 over and had at least 3 GIR and starting to really narrow in on my putting as well.
Very nice man, keep up the good work.

Driver- Taylor Made Tour Burner 10.5*
Irons- Affinity 2-PW, have a set of Callaway x22 on order
Wedges- Taylor Made gap wedge and sand wedge
Putter- Taylor Made Rossa Siena 4

I used to play ALOT like 5 years ago, and consistently shoot 2-4 under, then I started college/work and have played like twice over the past 2 years. Now I just bought some new clubs and have been out about 15 times in April and I just got back from playing today. Shot +4

Favorite thing about playing is just being outside and and the challenges of different courses.

Driving distance for me is about 265, on a good day right around 280.

I usually hit about 15/18 when I'm playing good. Just depends on the day I guess.
Yah, I have started to be alot more consistent with my GIRs, but my short game is still killing me. Anything probably 30yds in, I cannot seem to keep my head on. I spent most of my day sunday playing a par 3 course just so I could work on those short shots.

^^^^^Par 3's own me in every way possible. I think that its a more mental thing than anything, like the hole is so close and it should be any easy shot....nope. I either fall short and then my next shot is over the green, or I hook/slice my tee shot way off the green. Those holes account for most of my strokes in a game.

-One thing I have improved on is my putting, I think this is solely due to my new Rossa putter. Anything within 25' is pretty much an automatic drain for me. I think that if is wasn't for my consistent putting, my overall score would be a few strokes higher.

Yah, I got into a new odyssey white hot a little under a month ago, now i'm average probably 1.5 putts per hole, which isn't great, but is phenomenal compared to my past around 2.5-3. I took 2 years off and it caught up with me hard, but now that I'm out playing a lot more I'm getting more comfortable with everything. I renovated my bag with that driver, wedge, and putter I just picked up, so its really been a learning curve for me lately.

Word man. We busted out 9 holes just now, it was a good day, shot a 41 on a par 36. Kept shooting myself in the foot with my long irons today. Happens some days.
