Thanks man. I'm self taught. Anyone can do it if they take their time. Its just metal so if u f**k it up just cut it out and do it again...sick, wish i was capable of this kind of fab work, awesome job so far
U know I'm not a fan of bobbed beds. If I did anything I would extend the frame and put a long bed on. Thanks for the input though. Nice to see someone else is thinking out of the box lolhave you ever thought of cutting the bed down in length?
i thought that as well, but then thought with the front end all put on, it might look odd since the nose is actually kinda long and the bed is already short.have you ever thought of cutting the bed down in length?
really!? i dunno if a longer bed would look right.U know I'm not a fan of bobbed beds. If I did anything I would extend the frame and put a long bed on. Thanks for the input though. Nice to see someone else is thinking out of the box lol
There is a guy that imported a rhd four door mazda cab and put a long bed on it and it looks badass. The bed is staying lol.i thought that as well, but then thought with the front end all put on, it might look odd since the nose is actually kinda long and the bed is already short.

i think the bed on it looks to be just about the perfect length... maybe 2 or 3 inches too long, but thats just my opinion.
everyone and their mom puts v8s in there s**t. Not a fan. I'm an import guy and the rotary is stayingI agree, the bed on it is just about the right length. However, I think you should lengthen the engine bay and throw in a big block
Thanks greyson. I could use some help, lolThis truck is so sick
Great fabwork man, I tried to look at your update yesterday but for some reason the pics wouldn't load >_<
If you weren't in freakin Junction I would be there everyday getting drunk and messing with welders. haha.[/QUOT
im in for pics of that.
Psh, Bugatti it...two v8s..Business in the front, more business in the back.I agree, the bed on it is just about the right length. However, I think you should lengthen the engine bay and throw in a big block
i actually saw a RE-PU the other day... rusty as hell, but still running. i should have asked if he was interested in selling it.U guys r missing the whole point of this build...
Mazda made a rotary engine pickup in 74-77. I am trying to recreate what mazda should have done in the nineties but didn't. Well obviously they wouldn't have bagged it and s**t but u get the idea lol
thanks a lot man. i really appreciate it. i am doing this build to show people that u dont have to pay a shop to do the work on ur vehicles and that it can be a whole lot of fun. it just takes a lot of thought and a bit of patience(which i lack most of the time).I know im a bit late but i just read through all 40 pages of ur build thread awesome best thread on here especially because ur doing ti all urself and because u go into super detail how each step is done its a true fabricators thread great truck and love the rotary motor much different than alot of mini truckers brings back memories of my first vehicle 91 s 10 on bags great lovin the build good luck
