UPDATE:

Looks as though this fan may have been the solution to my problem. Under normal highway driveway the temp stayed between 180-190. Under hard boost I got it to creep to around 210... but that was nonstop boost uphills at 80+mph... I NEVER usually drive like that so I'm not worried.
Here's a picture so you can see the normal temp in action.. hah.

I got the white face gauge off ebay.. hah about my only ebay cheap part.. I just like that it glows green like my pillar gauges!

I can say this and I know I know you already know this also... Wheels are what make or break a car, your wheels are clean and very nice, but with some serious wheels your car could be a show winner and in mag's bro..

Actually.. I want to get rid of my camera and upgrade but I'm kinda not employed right now so I shouldn't really be spending money on anything other than gas.

As for the picture comment, thank you very much man! I honestly have grown sick of my wheels even though I get a lot of good feedback on them. I've had them since 2006... it's been awhile and I just want something new. If you look up close the clear is coming off and two of them are curbed a bit. I already have a rim choice picked out in my head... trying to keep away from people who might sway my opinion, otherwise I'll never actually just pick a set and buy them. In time I'll get rims and submit my car to a magazine... that's been my goal from day 1 of this entire build thread.

What are you thinking of upgrading too? If I were to go Nikon I would go to a D5000 If I go Canon who knows, but I like the D5000 in how the screen flips out, that is perfect for over crowd shoots or down low....

Seriously let me know if you want to get rid of it man, hook me up! lol Give me a good deal when you decide to (if I haven't gotten one of my own!!)

I was looking at the Nikon D90... but after talking to a sales rep at dans camera city I was told that the D90 might be getting replaced around Christmas time... so I might as well just wait it out for a bit. I would surely sell my D40 if I upgrade.. no doubt about that!

The rim idea will not be revealed!
I have a before picture posted on page 1 of this thread.. I would sure hope the magazine would publish that as well as some in progress pictures... I just need to compile them all in 1 folder.

yea man I would say do like a pic of a few pics, like take them and make a computer designed posting board where you can put the pics like angled and such all into one pic so they post it like that? I don't know I think that would be cool!

Not much has been going on now that college is back in full swing. Been driving the car to school occasionally; driving great!

I'm looking to hit up the local track in a few weeks so I'm trying to get my hands on some rims/tires or slicks. I really am just trying to find something cheap that will do the job. Slicks might make me snap an axle because I don't have LSD... so I think I might just buy 2 rims along with some drag radials..

Hell, you could throw anything ricer on that thing and it would still blow the doors off anything you face!! haha
