s**t, I still need to boresight and clean my Remington 700! Got 60 more rounds of .243 ready to go through it.went shooting today, forgot how much of a pain in the ass it is to dial in a new scope when you dont bore sight it first
s&w m&p ar15what were you shooting?
I sold mine.. not a bad gun at all...Oh god......I want one.
are you going super close then 50/75, adjust then 75/100 adjust.. then out to desired range adjust etc.. helps if you have a spotter.. but you should be able to get on paper sub 50 yards even if the scope is WAY out off.. once you establish center you are really only going to be making height adjustments as you move out further..went shooting today, forgot how much of a pain in the ass it is to dial in a new scope when you dont bore sight it first
shooting at 50, problem was that there was not enough of left windage adjustment. With it totally maxed out it was finally shooting centerline. Had a hard time getting a clear image through the scope, lastnight started messing with it and actually slid it forward as much as possible on the bridge, which fixed the image. Guess ill have to go back out and see if that fixes anything.are you going super close then 50/75, adjust then 75/100 adjust.. then out to desired range adjust etc.. helps if you have a spotter.. but you should be able to get on paper sub 50 yards even if the scope is WAY out off.. once you establish center you are really only going to be making height adjustments as you move out further..
As ridiculous as this sounds.. my procedure for sighting in ANY optics...shooting at 50, problem was that there was not enough of left windage adjustment. on the other hand, my Glock 19 still shoots awesome close patterns at 15 yards
nice find.. guess you are glad I sent you over to NJGFTraded my S&W MP15-22+$90. The bolt was doing some catching on my MP15-22, still cocked but had some resistance while cocking. I liked it, but I dont have much money so a $450 .22 out of the box was a little over the top right now, I wanted something more practical. This thing is mint. Came with the original plastic mag, two metal mags that work great, and 20 rounds. Has about 200 rounds through it. Some people dont like the thumbhole, I like it already and think it is going to grow on me. So now I have two 7.62 guns................even if one is x39 and the other is x54
