not 100% sure but i'm going to say different as well. most of the time the sizes are different for coupe/hatch vs sedan.

My bad, trying to do two things at once didn't work out. I still don't think they'll fit right.

can i take the carpet from my '97 Civic coupe and put it in a '93 Civic coupe?? it looks the same
Fixed that for you.

(EKs were never sold here and when used as slang can potentially refer to ANY 1996-2000 Civic coupe, hatch or sedan. EJs include 1993-1995 Civic coupes and ALL 1996-2000 US Civic coupes, hatches and sedans besides the Si coupe. Chassis codes aren't good to use most of the time unless you 100% know the three digit chassis code and you want to bet that everyone willing to answer your question knows what they mean too. Just stick to years, bodies and trims if necessary and you'll be less likely to cause confusion.)

No, the carpets will not fit properly. Or at least I see zero reason that they should. They're just totally different cars. Sometimes mechanical parts of Hondas fit on other Hondas, but not body items. So while brakes, suspension and engine parts might fit multiple Hondas, you're taking a gamble (at best) with exterior body parts (bumpers), interior body parts (dashes, seats) and working body parts (moonroofs).
How about the plastic kick panels and back seat?
Either do a search (because I'm not 100% sure on this) or go out there with a tape measure and start measuring.

Rear seats generally do not fit perfectly in models they were not meant for. They usually (always?) have a gap between the top and bottom sections. I know '96-'00 Civic coupe rear seats have a 40/60 split. Go out and check where the '93-'95 Civic coupe rear seat splits. It might not hook to the rear deck if it's not the same.
