ex mustang guy going Honda

I am new to the civic world. I always was a mustang guy and had a 91 LX hatch with stroker motor and 6 speed conversion. I thought there was nothing but Mustangs that would run...Until now...I bought a 95 2 door civic last saturday and have had a blast so far with it. I have walked away from the mustangs for good as they seem to be just money pits! I am in the process of doing some body work and flat blacking my civic. It has the D16Z6 VTEC motor that runs like new but just have some questions here and there. a few hiccups with it.
